Features of Our Bath Mats

Cotton absorbs moisture and feels comfortable against the skin. Depending on how they are processed, our bath mats have a soft, fluffy, or more textured surface.

All Mary Rose bath mats are Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold. This independent product standard evaluates, among other things, material health, recyclability, water and soil management, renewable energy, and social criteria.

Certification does not automatically mean that a product can be fully recycled or returned to a biological cycle everywhere and without any further requirements. The materials, processes, and intended recycling pathways specified in the certificate are decisive.

Our bath mats are also made without any ingredients of animal origin and are labeled as vegan.

In addition, as part of our membership in the Fair Wear Foundation, we are committed to improving working conditions in textile supply chains.

Terry cloth has a looped structure that allows the fabric to absorb moisture and gives it a soft feel. Twisted-yarn terry cloth is made from twisted yarns and, depending on the style, has a slightly sturdier and more textured feel.

How to Care for Bath Mats Properly

Proper care depends on the material, color, and finish. Therefore, always follow the instructions on the care label.

Depending on the model, our bath mats can be machine-washed at temperatures up to 60 °C. Use a detergent suitable for cotton and the specific color.

You can also check the care label to see whether the bath mat is suitable for the dryer or professional wet cleaning. Bleach should only be used if expressly permitted.

Allow the bath mat to dry completely after use and after washing. Proper care tailored to the product can help preserve its color, shape, and fabric texture for as long as possible.
