How often should you replace your pillow?

There is no standard timeframe for replacing a pillow. Its lifespan depends, among other things, on the filling, the construction, the amount of use, and how it is cared for.

It may make sense to replace a pillow if it has permanently lost its shape, no longer provides comfortable support, is damaged, or can no longer be adequately cleaned or refreshed despite proper care. A pillow that is still functional and hygienically sound does not need to be replaced simply because of its age.

How do you properly care for a pillow?
