Our bathrobes are made of organic cotton and are certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The standard sets out environmental and social requirements for the processing of certified organic fibers. Compliance is monitored by independent certification bodies.

Cotton is often used for bathrobes because of its soft feel and its ability to absorb moisture. In addition, as part of our membership in the Fair Wear Foundation, we are committed to improving working conditions in textile supply chains.

What should you look for when buying a bathrobe?

When choosing a bathrobe, the most important factors to consider are fit, weight, weave, and care instructions.

Organic cotton feels pleasantly soft and can absorb moisture. However, whether a bathrobe is suitable for sensitive skin or for people with allergies cannot be determined based on the material alone.

Also, make sure to choose the right size and the desired length. A lightweight bathrobe may be particularly suitable for travel or warmer rooms, while a denser or heavier fabric often provides more warmth.

Bathrobes with a waffle texture

Some of our bathrobes are made of waffle piqué. This weave has a distinctive, textured appearance and results in a light, airy fabric.

Waffle piqué can absorb moisture and dry relatively quickly. This makes this style well-suited for everyday use, travel, the sauna, or the spa.
