Fair Wear Once Again Awards "Leader" Status

We are incredibly excited to have once again been recognized as a "Leader" by the Fair Wear Foundation! This means that our ongoing commitment is being recognized—but we won't be resting on our laurels.
Successes should be celebrated
Behind this award lies the consistent work of our entire team and our partners. Above all, Lucia, our Head of Social Compliance, has played a leading role here. She has been particularly pleased lately to see how significantly attitudes and corporate culture have shifted for the better when it comes to gender equality. For years, she has been working tirelessly to raise employee awareness, empower female employees, and promote a more inclusive work environment. For the third year in a row, for example, we have funded a training program on gender equality at our main supplier in Turkey.

Our mission remains the same
And yet, our efforts are still far from reaching their goal. Advocating for fair working conditions is an ongoing task that constantly challenges us to find solutions to new challenges.
One example is the ongoing automation in the textile industry. Where excessive overtime used to be a problem, there is now a shortage of work because AI-powered machines are increasingly taking over these tasks. This is creating entirely new situations for which we must find solutions together. That is another reason why we are pleased to be working with the Fair Wear Foundation.
