GREEN MONTH AT MARY ROSE

World Environment Day, a day of action dedicated to environmental protection, is celebrated on June 5. It aims to raise awareness of sustainability and how we treat our environment.

Environmental protection, fair working conditions and holistically sustainable production have been close to our hearts for many years, which is why we have decided to do our bit to raise awareness.

What does that look like? For one month, we will be focusing entirely on information about sustainability and environmental protection online and in our stores in Dornbirn (Mary Rose) and Innsbruck (Tyrler).

We don't want to tell you any horror stories, but would like to take you on a sustainable journey together and explain our methods, our products and our holistic, sustainable approach in a very transparent way .

The question of all questions:

AND WHAT DO THE OTHERS DO?

We actually ask ourselves this question very often. If we can work so sustainably and economically at the same time, why can't the rest? Just to give you an idea of scale - with the combined power of just over 30 people, our team has managed to produce completely biodegradable home textiles without any negative impact on the environment. So we ask ourselves the legitimate question:

What are large corporations doing wrong that they can't manage sustainability even better?

The problem is certainly not the financial means - they are probably way ahead of us in that respect. The problem lies in wanting to - or in this case, not wanting to. But as long as companies continue to make a profit with their current methods, their strategy will not change any time soon. So it's up to us - each and every one of us - to change that:

Let's exert pressure together.
Let's be uncomfortable together.

And let's work together to ensure that large corporations also have to deal with sustainability at least as intensively as we do on a daily basis.
